The pavilion is inspired by the natural landscape and surrounding Blue Ridge Mountains with a rolling form clad in natural materials. The amphitheater is the park’s centerpiece. Its contemporary, open-air structure complements the surroundings and hosts concerts, performances, and community gatherings.

Morganton Courthouse Square reflects the city’s commitment to community events, such as its beer festival and music series.
Courthouse Square acts as both the front door to the city as well as a reflection to the community’s history, featuring an interactive art installation repurposing the cell doors from the old jail that once occupied this site.
With landscaped gardens, shaded walkways, and open green spaces, Courthouse Square blends historical charm with modern amenities, creating a vibrant hub for both entertainment and civic engagement at the heart of Morganton.
