Project Architect

STITCH is seeking a self-starter, who feels passionate about the opportunity to be part of our team with a focus on Commercial Architecture. The ideal candidate will have strong visualization and design skills along with the ability to execute, providing professional architectural consultation for large, complex projects. Responsible for specific technical design aspects of assigned major projects, including investigation, evaluation, and recommendation of design solutions that best meets the client’s needs.

 Essential Duties:

• Responsible for specific technical design aspects of assigned major projects, including investigation, evaluation, and recommendation of design solutions that best meets the client’s needs.
• Provide professional architectural consultation in the planning, design, and coordination of large complex projects.
• Independently applies advanced architectural concepts and designs.
• Carries out complex or novel assignments requiring the development of new or improved techniques and procedures.
• Provide technical guidance to less experienced architects.
• Other related duties as assigned by Partner(s).

Non-Essential Duties:

• Attend organization and community events on behalf of STITCH, as requested.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Undergraduate or graduate degree in architecture.
• 6+ years of experience as an Architect; certification as a licensed professional Architect required.
• Proficiency with BIM software (Revit preferred); 3D modeling software (SketchUp preferred); Microsoft Office 365.
• Strong organization and communication skills.
• Creative problem solver with a passion for design and attention to detail.
• Strong project management skills, including client management, proposals, fees, etc.
