Starbucks

Located on one of Greensboro’s busiest thoroughfares, the Starbucks at Wendover Avenue was an opportunity to create an impactful experience at all levels of interaction. When presented with prototype drawings from previous stores, we chose to push those parameters and develop a space that adhered to the Starbucks guidelines while breaking some of the provided molds. Using minimalist forms and materials like metal panel and cedar-like cementitious siding, the building became immediately recognizable and is helping transform the surrounding area.
